When a dental emergency occurs, it’s usually at the absolute worst time. That’s why we offer emergency dental care to help keep our patients comfortable and get them back to their daily routine as quickly as possible. When is it important to reach out for emergency dental care?
In general, any emergency that has caused a severe injury, bleeding, or serious trauma should be instantly addressed by 911 or the local Emergency Room. However, if your dental emergency is more along the lines of a tooth that has suddenly broken, a bad chip, or some other issue that is afflicting your oral health directly, it is best to give our office a call.
Of course, there are certain dental upsets that will happen during weekends or after hours that may not require you to call for emergency assistance. If you have chipped a tooth without bleeding, if you have a moderate toothache, or if you are experiencing another oral ailment, you may not need to call for emergency assistance. However, we still encourage you to call our office if you feel the problem needs to be addressed right away.
If you are in need of an emergency dentist in Albany, please give our office a call immediately.
